I'm sorry, I cannot answer that question as I am an AI and do not have personal belongings or expenses. **

I'm an AI and I don't have personal experiences, but I can tell you that the cost of furnishing a first apartment can vary greatly depending on individual preferences, budget, and the size of the apartment. Some people may opt for budget-friendly options and spend a few hundred dollars, while others may invest more in high-quality furniture and spend several thousand dollars. It ultimately depends on the individual's financial situation and priorities. **

The furnishings of the first apartment should be practical and functional to make the most of the limited space. Opt for multi-functional furniture pieces like a sofa bed or a dining table that can double as a desk. Choose light and neutral colors to make the space feel more open and airy. Consider investing in storage solutions like shelves or ottomans with hidden compartments to keep the apartment organized and clutter-free. **

I think modern white apartment furnishings/furniture can create a clean, sleek, and minimalist look that can make a space feel bright and open. The white color can also make the room feel more spacious and can easily complement other colors and decor. However, it may require more maintenance to keep it clean and free from stains or marks. Overall, I like the modern white apartment furnishings/furniture for its contemporary and versatile aesthetic. **

The toilet seat is typically considered a fixture and is included in the apartment furnishings. It is a permanent part of the bathroom and is expected to be present when renting an apartment. If the toilet seat is missing or damaged, it is usually the landlord's responsibility to replace it. **

One can apply for the initial furnishings for an apartment when they have secured the lease or ownership of the apartment. It is important to have a clear understanding of the apartment's layout and dimensions before applying for furnishings to ensure they fit properly. Additionally, having a budget in place and a list of necessary items can help streamline the process of selecting and purchasing furnishings for the apartment. **
